New qualification for equestrian property specialist
Equestrian property specialist, Ashling Toolan, a member of our rural team, has qualified as a chartered surveyor.
Horse riding enthusiast Ashling passed the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors Assessment of Professional Competence exam which means that all members of our rural team, based in Loughborough, Leicestershire, and led by Joint Managing Director Rupert Harrison, are qualified surveyors.
As well as handling estate management matters, lettings of cottages and country property, Ashling will be one of the key players in our new Country Home and Equestrian department which launched this autumn
in response to increased demand for rural property with land, equestrian facilities and paddocks in the East Midlands.
Ashling said: “I am so pleased to have qualified, and I’m looking forward to further developing my rural property skills in practice. Rural property and rural life are very important to me, and I’m pleased to be able to help people in rural communities and the farming sector with property management. I would also like to thank my colleagues who have supported me during my journey.”
Ashling joined Andrew Granger & Co in July 2014 after graduating with a Rural Enterprise and Land Management degree from Harper Adams University in Shropshire.
She now hopes to extend her qualifications when she sits the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers examination.
